About Proyecto Claudia Lars

Proyecto Claudia Lars is a digital library dedicated to preserving and sharing Spanish-language literature. Our catalog is composed of public domain works from Latin American and Spanish authors, available for free download in multiple formats.

The project is named after Claudia Lars (1899-1974), a Salvadoran poet considered one of the most important lyrical voices in Central America. Her work, marked by a deep sensitivity to nature and the human condition, represents the spirit we seek to honor: making the literary richness of our language accessible to all.

Our mission

We believe that literature is a common good. The great works of our authors belong to everyone and should be within reach of anyone with internet access. That is why every book in our catalog is in the public domain and can be downloaded at no cost.

How it works

Each work is carefully curated, digitized, and reviewed before being published. We offer multiple download formats (EPUB, PDF, and more) so you can read on the device of your choice.

If you create an account, you can save your favorite books and keep a history of your downloads in your personal library.

Contribute

If you have public domain works you would like to see in our catalog, or if you find any errors in existing works, we would love to hear from you.
